SCAHMS 2014 report part3 - Boxed Dioramas, Ordnance & Paper Models

This year had only two pieces in boxed & large dioramas category. First one was the best of show on last post and second was this boxed diorama "Action Stations! Dive!" by Mike Mcfadden, another stunning piece in the show :)

ในปีนี้มีผลงานเพียงแค่สองชิ้น ในประเภทไดโอราม่าครับ ซึ่งชิ้นแรกคืองานที่ได้รางวัล best of show ที่ลงภาพไว้ก่อนหน้านี้ครับ ส่วนชิ้นที่สองเป็นงานไดโอราม่าแบบกล่อง ชื่อ Action Stations! Dive! โดย Mike Mcfadden เป็นอีกชิ้นที่โดดเด่นมากครับ

It didn't have many pieces in ordnance category and mostly were braille scale, but some of them were really superb. My favorite was a small scale display by Bill Chilstrom.

ประเภทของยุทธยานยนต์นั้นมีไม่มากนัก และส่วนใหญ่จะเป็นมาตราส่วนขนาดเล็ก แต่ก็มีงานสวยๆหลายชิ้นครับ ชิ้นที่ผมประทับใจคือผลงานของ Bill Chilstrom ที่ทำออกมาสวยและมีเรื่องราวทั้งสามชิ้นเลยครับ

Also, this year was the first time they had paper models category in competition. Honestly, some pieces I didn't recognize that it made from paper when I saw it first time, and the pieces made from aluminium can was very creative. :)

นอกจากนี้ ปีนี้ยังเป็นปีแรกที่เค้าเปิดให้มีการประกวดในประเภทโมเดลกระดาษด้วยครับ แม้ผลงานจะมีไม่มากนักแต่ก็ดูน่าทึ่งมากครับ บางชิ้นตอนแรกที่เห็นผมไม่รู้เลยว่าทำจากกระดาษ ส่วนอันที่ทำจากกระป๋องน้ำอัดลมก็สร้างสรรค์และปราณีตมากครับ

ในส่วนของรูปภาพนั้น คงจะไม่สามารถตัดสินถึงคุณภาพของชิ้นงานจริงๆได้ทั้งเรื่องรายละเอียดและสีสรร เนื่องจากกล้องของผมนั้นเป็นกล้องคอมแพคทั่วๆไป และไม่เหมาะกับการถ่ายภาพแบบที่ต้องถ่ายใกล้ในที่ร่มแบบนี้ซักเท่าไหร่ ถ้าบางภาพนั้นดูไม่ค่อยชัดก็ต้องขออภัยด้วยนะครับ
