After finished the russian bust project, I switched back to this project that's waiting on my desk for a couple months. I decided to finish shading and highlighting on the armor and jump pack first, before adding the lightning pattern on it.
I painted the armor and jump pack with Intense Blue (VMC 70925) as a base color and mixed it with black and white for shading and highlighting. I also glazed on the shadow with Royal Purple (VMC 70810) in order to create more variety of colors (I found this method from HopeRiver's blog, HERE). This glazed color is coated on the shadow as a thin layer of purple-red and it will be seen when reflected with the light. However, it's quite difficult to capture this color on the shadow with my poor camera.

ในส่วนสีของชุดเกราะผมใช้สี Intense Blue (VMC 70925) เป็นสีพื้น และนำมาผสมกับสีขาวและสีดำสำหรับการทาเกลี่ยไล่สีของแสงและเงา จากนั้นใช้สี Royal Purple (VMC 70810) ทาเคลือบแบบเกลซ (glazing) ลงในส่วนของเงา เพื่อให้เกิดความหลากหลายของสีบนชิ้นงานมากขึ้น (ผมเจอวิธีการเกลซสีลงบนเงานี้ในบล็อกของ HopeRiver ครับ ลองเข้าไปดูได้ที่ HERE) สีที่ทาเคลือบไปนี้จะไปเคลือบเป็นชั้นบางๆอยู่บนบริเวณที่เป็นสีของเงา และจะทำให้ส่วนของเงานั้นดูเป็นสีเข้มออกไปทางแดงอมม่วง และจะเห็นได้ชัดเมื่อสะท้อนกับแสง แต่อาจจะมองเห็นสีนี้ในภาพที่ถ่ายมาได้ลำบากหน่อยครับ
