Sgt. Blackburn

EFGF-HWP
(Earth Federation Ground Force - Heavy Weapons Platoon)

Finally, here're the photos of my latest project. Well, I can say this is the most difficult project I've ever done so far and my most favorite piece up to date. I wanted to do a project like this one for so long, a scifi-fantasy miniature that I can try painting tattoo and colorful camo on it at the same time, also making a base with fully weathered that can tell a story of the miniature. It took me almost half a year to finish the whole project and I really satisfied with it.

The mini was painted with Vallejo Model Color for the skin and Kimera Kolors for the rest of the mini.
The base was made from plaster, wire mesh and some plastic details. The Zaku head was converted from gashapon Exceed Model Zaku Head and weathered with acrylic, enamel, and oils from various brands.

The Thai pattern tattoo on both arms was the most difficult part to paint because of its size. I wanted to paint a tattoo on miniature for so long especially with Thai pattern that I'm passionate about. The appearance of the mini is suited with the idea so I tried to do and make it looks like a real tattoo. I'm so happy and satisfied with the result.
This project is finally finished, hopefully, I'll have some crazy ideas and time to do something like this again soon in the future.

By the way, you can check out on my page and blog for more posts about making the Zaku head base.

Blackburn of the EFGF-HWP (Earth Federation Ground Force - Heavy Weapons Platoon).
